 As an artist, I find that creating portraits is not just about capturing a likeness; it’s about preserving a moment in time, a fleeting emotion, or a shared experience. Each stroke of the pencil or brush is a way to hold onto the essence of a person, to celebrate their uniqueness, and to tell their story.


When I create a portrait of someone, I’m not just observing their physical features; I’m delving into their spirit. The way their eyes light up when they laugh, the subtle curve of their smile, or the way they carry themselves—all of these details matter. In a world that moves so quickly, taking the time to sketch someone allows me to pause and truly appreciate who they are in that moment.

Marili is currently preparing for Decorex in June, where she hopes to showcase her artwork and drawings to a larger audience.

What do I draw on?

I draw on high quality artists paper to ensure long lasting art work

Can I do on canvas?

I prefer not to draw on canvas because of the rough texture, my work can however be printed on canvas after a high quality photo has been taken.

How long does an order take to complete?

It usually take me 4 to 6 weeks because of a waiting list to get to new orders placed. Finished a drawing takes around 2 to 6 working days, depending on the details of the photo I’m drawing and also the paper size that I’m drawing on
